Michael adds additional financial services industry experience to Goheen Financial Group having been in the industry since 1998. Michael strives to determine and then implement through his investment knowledge successful ways of realizing client’s goals using a wide range of investment vehicles. Michael maintains client relationships through trust and genuine affection helping clients achieve their specific and often uniquely personalized path to financial success.
Michael joins the Goheen Financial Group most recently from running his own investment firm MTJ Wealth Management. Prior to being an independent adviser he worked for Morgan Keegan, Investment Professionals, Inc., and WaMu Investments, Inc. Michael has consistently earned various awards throughout his financial services career. He has spent the majority of his financial services tenure here in Houston and its outer lying areas.
Before entering the financial services industry, Michael played minor league baseball for both the Atlanta Braves Organization in Eugene, Oregon/ Durham, North Carolina and the Texas-Louisiana League out of Alexandria, Louisiana.
Michael has received a degree of Bachelor of Arts with a cooperative major in Economics/Administrative Studies from the University of California Riverside.
Michael lives with his family in Fort Bend County, where he has been a resident since 2000. He is a former member of Rotary where he earned Paul Harris Fellow honors. He currently plays baseball for the Diablos, a Houston Men’s Senior/Adult Baseball League Team.
